Fault-Current Injection Strategies of Inverter-Based Generation for Fast Voltage Recovery

As the inverter-based generation replaces conventional synchronous generators, it may also need to fill in missing ancillary service support. One of these services is dynamic reactive power provision and voltage control. This paper analyzes optimal strategy active fault-current support leading fast recovery system. For purpose analysis, new ramping current controller able emulate different behavior injection proposed. By optimizing its parameters for case studies system, conclusions about inverter based with respect system operating conditions are drawn.
